Senior Warehouse Manager
Store-All Logistics – Marine Point, Belview Port, Waterford
Store-All Logistics is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Warehouse Manager to join our Tier Three Management Team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across our Food, Pharma and General warehouse operations while developing high-performing teams and building strong customer relationships.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work cross functionally and collaborate with key colleagues such as Quality, Transport, IT and HR. and ensure exceptional customer service.
CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Leadership & Strategy
As our Senior Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across multiple warehouse operations, ensuring business objectives are achieved through effective planning, strong people leadership and operational excellence.
They will be responsible for:
• Strategic Workforce Planning, defining both short and long-term operational goals that align with business objectives.
• Driving Succession Planning, Performance Management, Personal Development Plans, Talent Management, and Capacity Planning & Modelling to support future growth and operational success.
• Leading, developing, coaching and mentoring Managers, Supervisors and operational teams, creating a positive, engaged culture that motivates employees and maximises productivity.
• Providing effective Execution & Oversight by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, tracking milestones and adapting workflows to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Demonstrating strong Critical Thinking and Decision-Making skills by analysing risks, solving operational challenges and making informed, commercially focused decisions.
• Driving clear and effective Communication, ensuring operational objectives and expectations are understood across all functions while fostering employee engagement and morale.
• Embedding Leader Standard Work through regular GEMBA walks, process confirmation and continuous monitoring of operational standards across all warehouse locations.
• Leading and supporting key Operational Improvement Projects, working collaboratively with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver practical, solution-focused improvements.
Operational Management & Excellence
The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the highest standards of operational performance, quality and compliance are consistently achieved.
They will be responsible for:
• Delivering effective Planning & Resourcing, ensuring operational plans and workforce resources are aligned to meet all customer requirements On-Time & In-Full (OTIF).
• Taking overall responsibility for Operational & Procedural Excellence, ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are implemented consistently across all designated warehouse operations.
• Driving Operational Excellence by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, solving operational challenges and making informed, data-driven decisions.
• Maintaining warehouses in a constant state of Audit Readiness, ensuring the highest standards of compliance are achieved.
• Leading Root Cause Analysis for incidents and accidents, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
• Promoting exceptional Hygiene, Housekeeping, Quality and Health & Safety standards across all warehouse operations.
• Continuously reviewing and streamlining operational processes to optimise resources, improve efficiency and maximise productivity without compromising Quality or Safety.
• Ensuring Product Security, Product Integrity and effective Stock Control are maintained at all times.
• Ensuring full compliance with Quality Management Systems, Health & Safety requirements and company procedures.
• Utilising a range of business systems, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, TMS (Time & Attendance), Access Control, DocuSign and Purchase Pilot, to support operational performance and reporting.
Client Relationship Management
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be a key part of this role, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term partnerships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing and maintaining strong Operational Relationships with customers to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery.
• Leading regular customer meetings to provide updates on key operational performance, including Storage Volumes, Productivity, Overtime Requirements, Slot Utilisation, Complaints, Incidents, and Joint Project Status.
• Building, maintaining and strengthening professional relationships with client contacts while ensuring the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism and customer service.
• Working collaboratively with customers and the Operations Manager during Service Level Reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Developing trusted partnerships that enhance customer satisfaction and support long-term business success.
KPI & Reporting
The successful candidate will use performance data and reporting to drive operational excellence, support decision-making and deliver exceptional customer service.
They will be responsible for:
• Ensuring the Divisional KPI Dashboard is completed On-Time & In-Full (OTIF) each month, no later than the end of the first working week.
• Producing accurate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Warehouse KPI Reports to monitor operational performance and support informed decision-making.
• Preparing and issuing customer reports, including Monthly KPI Dashboards, Storage Capacity, Productivity, Overtime and Slot Utilisation reports.
• Producing accurate Financial Reports to support payroll, customer back-charging and operational cost management.
• Working closely with the Finance Team on budgets, collections, invoices and planned spend to support business performance.
• Using KPI reporting, data analytics and performance insights to identify trends, drive continuous improvement and support operational excellence.
Experience
We're looking for someone with:
• A minimum of 3-4 years' experience managing people at multiple levels within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading large operational teams and driving performance.
• Warehousing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
