Warehouse Operative / Forklift Operator
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career in logistics and warehouse operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation across the warehouse.

What You’ll Do

• Operate warehouse equipment including Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Ride-on Pallet Trucks and Floor Washers.

• Safely load and unload goods while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

• Locate, pick, and prepare stock for dispatch.

• Carry out cycle counting and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Perform manual handling tasks, including handballing and repalletising loads when required.

• Maintain a clean and organised workspace through housekeeping and “clean as you go” practices.

• Conduct weekly forklift inspections and assist with the general upkeep of warehouse equipment.

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and compliance standards.

This role involves regular manual handling and physical warehouse activity as part of day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Bring

• A strong awareness of Health & Safety practices in a warehouse environment.

• A valid driver’s licence.

• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to carry out physically active warehouse duties including lifting and moving goods.

• Good attention to detail and reliability in completing daily tasks.

Skills, Training & Experience

• Manual Handling Certificate preferred but not essential.

• Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Ride-on Pallet Truck, or VNA licence preferable but not essential.

• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
